Algorithms, flowcharts and order of operations.

In mathematics and computer science, an algorithm is a step-by-step procedure for calculations.  Flowchart is the graphical representation of an algorithm. The main symbols for a flowchart are:























  • Create a flowchart of the process “Wash hands”.

  • Name two decisions where you could need to use flowcharts.

Steps to create a Flyer
1. Get a Picture or Photo for your Flyer
2. Select the Flyer Template
3. Check Margins
4. Set background colors
5. Apply gradients to picture or colors
6. Apply Picture effects
7. Add Headings, sidebars, quotes
8. Add Text and WordArt
9. Save your project

Inserting images and text in a flyer



Steps to insert Text in the Flyer

1. Click in Insert and select “Page Parts”. Select Headings and input the Flyer Header
2. Click in Insert and select “Page Parts”.
       Select “Pull Quotes” and input a Text Message.
3. You can click in “Draw Box” and input the Text.  Use Text Box tools and Typography    Menu to edit Text
4. Insert “WordArt” to catch eye attention
5. Modify WordArt with WordArt tools
      • Text
      • Change Shape
      • Shape Fill and Gradient
6. Insert one picture or photograph
7. Apply picture effects using Picture tools
     • Picture Styles
     • Caption
